VELUX ZIL Insect Screen

The VELUX ZIL Insect Screen is made for VELUX GPL Roof Windows. Enjoy the fresh air without unwanted visitors with the VELUX insect screen. Simple to operate and can be combined with any VELUX Blind or exterior heat protection solution. It stows neatly away in the slim aluminium top casing when it’s not in use.

NOTE: Not suitable for GGL Roof Windows.

The insect screen cloth is made of barely visible, transparent material. It ensures an insect-free room without obstructing your view and fresh air. VELUX insect screen is made from only the best materials.

Contemporary white frame design

VELUX insect screen is available with high-quality side rails in white-painted aluminium. The side rails are easy to install and designed to fit your VELUX roof windows beautifully.

Easy and safe to operate – manual control bar

VELUX insect screens are manually operated. Simply grab the control bar and pull it up or down. The insect screen is attached to a top casing and runs in side rails that ensure smooth operation. It is mounted on the lining or on the wall, allowing you to operate your roof window as usual.

VELUX ZIL Insect Screen is fitted to ceiling to cover plaster reveal. Suitable for within-reach applications only. NB: side channel length to be cut to size.

VELUX ZIL Insect Screen Sizes

The VELUX ZIL insect screen is mounted on the wall and not on the window frame. This is why you need to measure the width and height of your roof window opening to determine the size of the insect screen required. To calculate the correct size of your insect screen, measure the inner wall width (A) and height (B) where you need to install the screen. Use these measurements to find the right size code of your insect screen. Please note that insect screens are not suitable for VELUX GGL Roof Windows.

The ZIL CK06 will suit the GPL CK02 and CK04 roof window sizes*
The ZIL MK10 will suit the GPL MK06 and MK08 roof window sizes*
The ZIL SK10 will suit the GPL SK06 roof window*
