Buy a skylight diffuser replacement to make your skylight look brand new again. Standard and custom sizes available.
Made from strong, UV stabilised acrylic, a new diffuser will perform well for 20 years.
Prismatic or Opal
The prismatic diffuser (a collection of prisms) disperses the light passing through, scattering it over a larger area. Made from 4.4mm acrylic sheet with 9.5mm square prisms, it will typically perform well for 20 years. Additionally, the diffuser softens the lights, reducing glare and decreasing eye strain.
The opal diffuser has an opaque finish that softens the light and has a sleek, modern look. Made from 3mm cast acrylic sheet, it is UV stabilised, weighs half as much as glass and up to 10 times more impact resistant. Providing only slightly less light dispersal than prismatic (about 5% less), it is the more stylish choice.
Skylight Diffuser Sizes
The skylight diffuser size is slightly smaller than the dimensions of the skylight shaft to allow it fit inside easily.
